Uh-Oh!!

I was in the kitchen one day making Bryson a bottle....and the next thing I heard was a crash and Bryson crying....I went around the counter island and this is what I found (only Bryson was laying on his back with the bowl holder on top of him).

I had to get him out of the water, or else he would be in the picture (let's just say he was UP-SET!!) Below are the wet pajamas that I took him out of after the incident and then him.....crawling back into the kitchen (he looks a little irritated that I am still snapping pictures of him in his diaper). LOL...it was kind of funny!! I just love our little guy!


Maybe now he will leave Brogan's food dish alone....but most likely not!!

Let's Play Catch Up

It seems like forever since I posted last.....well, because it has!! Geez! It has been crazy around our house. Here is what has happened the last month or so. We will back up to May 15th, 2009. That was the night that we had our Twilight Party. It was a BLAST!! We had dinner, played Twilight games and watched the movie. During the night....Bryson woke up crying and was inconsolable. I noticed that he was so HOT....we took his temperature and sure enough, he had a high fever. We thought he was just sick because he had been battling a cold all week. The next day I was playing with him and noticed a little itty bitty tooth. HE CUT A TOOTH!!!! It was his bottom, middle one. So cute. He still was sick later that day, so we took him to the Dr. and he has Bronchitis and a double ear infection! HOLY HANNAH....poor kid had a rough time!! Later that week he got a tummy bug, and then the following weekend....he cut another tooth, the other middle bottom one.

He had his 9 month check up 2 weeks ago and he weighs a whopping 16 LBS and is 24 inches long...just a little guy!! The doctor said he looks good, other than the eczema that he has under his chin and neck, but hopefully he will out-grow that. His OT (occupational therapist) said that she would like him to have his eyes checked because his neck isn't tight anymore from the Torticolis, but he still favors the one side, so she is wondering if he has double vision or something. So our Pediatrician referred us to Dr. Affleck and we go see him on June 29th. He has a follow up hearing test this week....hopefully things are still good :)

Since he started crawling....he just goes EVERYWHERE and gets into EVERYTHING!! He does not like to be told NO...he has a temper, and I hate to admit, he gets that from me....his daddy is the most easy-going, patient person I know....so there is no way he got the temper from him. He is pulling himself up on standing....the OT wants him to be walking along side the couch and coffee table within the next few weeks....and the way he is going, I think he can meet that goal.

He will be having his 9 month pictures taken this next Saturday, so I will have some to post soon. He is getting so cute and his smile and laugh are so infectious. Anyone who has been around Bryson know how his smile goes from ear to ear and his laugh is like music to the ears. At least to his family's ears....we love him so much and can't remember what life was like without him. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives and he was so worth the wait!!

Memorial Day Weekend

My Grandpa Luthi has asked numerous times that we come up to visit him. This time, I felt that we should go because it was Memorial Day weekend, and my Grandma's headstone was placed on her grave. FINALLY!! So Dustin and I packed Bryson up and we headed to Star Valley on Sunday, May 25th. We got there and Mom and Aunt Tami had made dinner/lunch for us...Pork Ribs, YUMMY!! So we visited for a while and then ate. After a filling meal, we decided to go to the cemetery. Just as we got there, it started to down pour on us.....so I didn't get as many pictures that I wanted, but the ones I got turned out alright....I do however, still want one of me, Dustin and Bryson in front of her headstone. The one I got of Bryson looking at her stone is precious. Here are the pics that I got of that day.

A little of this, a little of that!

Well, I have been harassed by my sister for the last little while because I have not been a faithful blogger these last few months. You see, I have a problem. I am addicted to Facebook......and recently, I am embarrassed to admit....but Yoville on Facebook. It is a really fun way to meet new people, for instance, I have met a girl from Costa Rica, who is going to nursing school in Dallas, TX. We have chatted quite a bit lately, and I really enjoy getting to know different people. But, I needed to show some much needed attention to my poor blog....so here is a little of what we have been doing the last 2 months....honestly, we are quite boring, but here it goes.

We went to my cousin Shane's wedding in Salt Lake City this past weekend. It was a really good time. I am so happy for Shane and Jessica, they are so cute together!! She is from Peru, but they met each other in a singles ward in Utah. We met her for the first time the day before the wedding and she is the sweetest girl!! She and her family welcomed all of Shane's family into theirs with open arms. They got sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.....they did the ceremony in both English and Spanish....which was pretty awesome.
We wanted to surprise Shane with having our Grandpa Luthi there right after they got married, both Shane and Jessica were under the impression that he wouldn't be able to make it until the reception later that night. But...we are so sneaky and surprised both of them!! It was a wonderful thing to experience.....EVERYONE was crying once Shane saw grandpa.....it was so neat. Jessica is so sweet, when she found out that Grandpa was there, she dropped what she was doing and ran to meet him....these are the pics I got during the glorious event. It was bitter-sweet that day, Grandpa had made it to the wedding of Shane and Jessica, but my sweet Grandma was there in spirit and we felt her so very close that day!! If you read this Shane, I know that Grandma is so very proud of you, of all of you accomplishments in life and is so excited for you to start your life with your new bride. Jessica, welcome to our family.....we are so lucky and blessed to have you be apart of it!!

This is just a pic of Bryson actually SITTING in the bathtub. That is something new that has happened since I last posted. He sits by himself now!!! YEAH!!! Although, there are times that he falls over, but for the most part, he is a big boy and sits by himself. Just this weekend actually, he started going from the sitting position to his side, to his tummy....it is only a matter of time before he starts crawling. He LOVES his bath time. He likes to splash in the water and get mommy soaked. I am not thrilled about that part, but hey....comes with the territory I guess.....He is growing up so fast.

This pic was snapped by Dustin. He had put Bryson in the jumper and left the room for just a minute and when he got back, this is what he found. Poor little man. He was ASLEEP!! He loves to jump, that he tires himself out!! It was so funny!!

While we were in SLC, we had to take advantage of my parents hotel swimming pool. This was Bryson's first time swimming. We didn't stay in very long, because the water wasn't that warm. Poor little guy was shivering so bad when we got him out....all the thanks goes to Grandma Brown for getting him back to the "heated" room to dry off and change him into dry clothes while Dustin, Alecia, Dad, and my sister's roommate, Jessica, got in the hot tub. (My mom, being the wonderful grandma she is, had cranked the heat up before we went to the pool so that when we got back, it would be super warm...way to be pro-active mom!! Thank you so much!!!

Well, there you have it. Told you ...... we are boring!! We had a good Easter weekend, quick, but good. Bryson is growing so big so fast!! He is still pretty small for 7 months, only about 14 pounds and about 25 inches long. He sits, laughs, and every once in awhile, I swear he says "momma"......I am still working on that though. We are so blessed to have him in our lives and don't know what we did to fill our time before we had him. Bryson is 5 months old!!

My sweet little man turned 5 months old on February 6th. He has been such a blessing to Dustin and I. We are so happy to have him in our family. Bryson is such a good baby.....my mom does not understand how I got him, cause I guess I was a little terror....not sleeping thru the night until I was 2 years old, colicky, you know, all of that fun stuff.....but yet, Bryson, he has been sleeping thru the night since he was 2 months old. I know that will probably change as soon as he starts really teething and cutting teeth. And as for his acid reflux.....he seems to be doing better with that too. The only thing with Bryson is he has a cold at LEAST once a month. It is so scary, because of his little premature lungs....we have to be extremely careful so he doesn't get RSV. If you ever see Bryson smile.....it melts your heart. He truly smiles with his entire face....it is so dang cute!!! We can't wait until he starts to crawl and walk....wait, I will NEVER be able to keep up with him then.....I better take that back!
