Bryson on the slide
We went with our friends, the Kofe's to the park one afternoon before they left and Bryson LOVED playing with the kids and on the jungle gym. He's growing up so quickly....look at him--going on the slide by himself!! At the end you hear him yelling at the other kids..... What a big boy!!
Bryson In The Pool
Here is Bryson in the pool that Grandpa and Grandma Brown have at their house. He LOVES swimming with Aunt Leesha!!
Random Pics/Vids of the Summer
Please bare with me.....I will have 2 more posts after this one :)
This summer is already half over and it doesn't even seem like we have had a summer, thanks to the wonderful weather and cold/rainy month of June!! Although we haven't been really doing anything, it feels like we have been soooo busy. Here is a recap of the summer thus far:
We had Grandpa Luthi's 88th Birthday party in June (see below for that post). Dustin was crazy busy at work the month of June for Protest month for property taxes. My office has had some changes in it, therefore....making my work crazy!! Our corporate office mandated a cut in employees so the last week of June they decided to lay off 3 of our most seasoned employees~WHAT WERE THEY THINKING--I DON'T KNOW!! Our receptionist is now gone, so is our Customer Service Rep, AND the only other Escrow Assistant.....GONE.....that's right....that leaves yours truly to be the assistant to 3 Escrow Officers. FANTABULOUS!! I have been stressed out to the max trying to get things done, since my job immediately doubled since I am the only assistant now. PLUS....everyone has to soak up the other 2 employees job responsibilities somehow. I have been so exhausted after work, and feel so bad because I am practically a zombie after 5:00, that my poor son doesn't get all of my attention that he deserves.
We have been struggling with Bryson's weight. He is still under 20 lbs and the doctor wants him to gain more. We have him on Instant Carnation Breakfast in the mornings and occasionally at night (if he will drink it). The problem is.....HE JUST WON'T EAT. Darn kid. I stress constantly because he won't eat. I took him to the doctor this last week and in 2 months he has gained a little under a pound. But, his Pediatrician listened to my theory about his acid reflux coming back and he looked at the growth chart and noticed that along the same time we took him off his medicine is when he started not gaining the weight. So--it's Axid for Bryson again. Hopefully his weight will be better at his 2 year checkup. So below is a pic that we had to take because it is a rarity that he eats.....here he is just eating like dad.....
Along with that, I have been trying to figure out what to do for a babysitter because ours is having a baby as well and wants to start her maternity leave a month before she has a baby. That was a stress in itself because I was finding people....then they would fall thru. FINALLY, I found someone that used to work with my mom at the Sheriff's office and happens to be State Certified to watch kids in her home--so I feel really good about having her watch my son.
Along with that stressful job thing......we have been trying to sell my Envoy. The monthly payments are just getting to be too much. So if anyone wants one or knows someone who is looking for an SUV, please send them my way.
As for the pregnancy.....so far so good. I have had 2 ultra sounds since June 1st and will continue to have one a month until delivery. He looks good and seems to be growing the way he should be. He actually is on the higher end of the weight scale for his gestational age. That's probably why I am so much bigger than I was at this time when I was pregnant with Bryson. Hopefully he continues down this path and we make it full term!! I promised people pics of the ultra sound, so here is the best one I could get:

Poor Bryson ...
This is what makes me happy in life. Coming home to this little boy. He is such a happy boy (as long as he is outside) and I just love him!! He makes me smile and forget for a moment about all of the other life stresses. Obviously this is Bryson playing with the hose. He would laugh and laugh when Brogan would come up and drink out of it.....but as soon as he would get himself.....he wasn't so fond of it. I feel bad for the kid.....but really couldn't help but laugh at him, because he would keep doing it over and over again. What a cute kid!!
Grandpa's 88th Birthday Party
My Grandpa Luthi turned 88 in June. We decided to have a party for him, primarily with the family, with the exception of my cousin Todd (he was in Alaska and couldn't come) and friends. It was quite the shin-dig. We had a pork roast and ham (my Grandma would make this every year for Grandpa's birthday, so we continued on with the tradition), rolls, salads galore, and cake and ice cream. Everyone had a good time and all of the great grandkids were running around playing so hard....they were TIRED by the end of the day. It was my bright idea to get a pic of the grandkids with Grandpa.....then the great-grandkids would join in for a pic with us.....Let's just say it didn't go as planned. By the time we rounded everyone up to take it, one cousin had left and didn't come back and the great-grandkids had been playing so hard that they were cranky and not wanting to cooperate. So we did the best we could. We also got a pic of the 3 girls that are prego and expecting this fall---Me, Jessica (my cousin Shane's wife) and Crystal (my cousin MaKell's wife). The pictures are as follows:
Backrow: MaKell (holding his son and the other is next to Grandpa), Shane, Holly, Alecia, Me (holding Bryson).
Frontrow: KayDell's son (Kaydell was not in the picture because he was trying to get his other son and daughter calmed down so that they could be in it....but I think the kids were all just to tired), Grandpa (arm around MaKell's son), Holly's daughter and son.
The grandkids (minus Kenny and Todd).
Backrow: MaKell, Shane, and KayDell
Front Row: Me, Alecia, Holly
Center: the most amazing man in the world--Our Grandpa Luthi!! Happy Birthday!!
The 2 prego women of the family
Left to Right: Jessica (Shane's wife-Due in August-1st baby), Me (Due middle of October-2nd baby), Crystal (MaKell's wife-Due first part of October-3rd baby).
WE ALL LOVE GRANDPA SO VERY MUCH AND HOPE TO HAVE MANY MANY YEARS WITH HIM TO COME!!

I'm a mother of......2 BOYS!!
That's right everyone. We had our ultrasound yesterday and there is no doubt about it.....we are having another boy!! I was outnumbered as it was but now.....my house will be overrun with male testosterone!! That's ok, I hear that boys are easier than girls....however Bryson is so stubborn and as we found out yesterday that our new little boy is just the same. He wouldn't cooperate and every time the ultra sound tech would try and take a still shot he would either put his hand or leg up to inhibit her from taking the pic that she wanted. We also saw (and I felt) him kicking my full bladder!! EVERY time he would take a stab at it, I could feel it wanting to burst!! I was very happy when she let me go to the bathroom. I don't have any ultrasound pics yet....but I will download some and get them posted. They did tell me that he is measuring 13 oz, which for a 20 week old fetus the weight is anywhere from 10-14 oz, so he is on the higher part of the scale....which is different from Bryson, who was always a little smaller. Everything that the tech could tell me she said looked normal, but my doctor will have to call me with the full report later this week.
My doctor wants me to have a monthly ultrasound from now until delivery. He wants to keep an eye on this baby since Bryson had IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Retardation)--in my terms--he was premature and small for his gestational age. I don't know what the game plan will be, if they notice that the placenta and umbilical cord start showing signs of possibly giving out, he hasn't gone that far into that part yet, and hopefully he won't have to....so cross your fingers that I go full term with this baby....or close to it as possible....NOT OVER :)
We are excited to have another little baby boy in our family.....especially for Bryson's sake....he will have a little buddy to cause trouble with and be life long best friends. We all thought that it was a girl because of how this pregnancy was going.....but I guess that just goes to show that not all pregnancies are the same. We can't wait to welcome him into our family in October!!

Bryson in the Window
Ok, it's been a super long time since I have posted anything....I know.....I AM A BLOG SLACKER.....I need a 12 step program :) Until I have a minute to actually do a post.....enjoy this cute video of Bryson. We put up his toddler bed this last Saturday, and I didn't think he'd figure out how to use the bed to get in the window.....this goes to show that I shouldn't underestimate my 21 month old. I just love this kid! Can't wait until he teaches his baby brother or sister all of his tricks....yes, that's right boys and girls.....for those who don't already know (because I suck at blogging these days, but if you have FB, you should know......) I am preggers.....20 weeks actually. We should find out what we are having at our ultrasound on June 1st. YAY....I will be sure to post that for sure :) But for now, please enjoy my lil man!!
