SLACKER!

Hello.....my name is Celeste Barron and I am a blog slacker!! I haven't blogged for months!! Guess I need to take a few minutes and get everyone caught up.
At the end of April, I got laid off from First American Title after 9 1/2 years of employment there.  It was kind of a blessing in disguise.  I have been able to stay home with the boys and get unemployment.  I do want to start watching kids in my home so that I can continue to stay home with the boys.  I am pretty sure that Bryson has enjoyed being home, but I am sure he'd like to play with kids his age more often.  So, PLEASE, IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE LOOKING FOR A IN HOME DAYCARE, SEND THEM MY WAY!! I would love to get this new part of my life started!!
Alot has happened the last few months....I got laid off, my sister got married, the 4th of July, Asher started crawling, eating big people food, I've started using doTERRA essential oils and LOVE them, took the kids to Island Park for a day for 4-wheeling and rafting.....there is more, but I can't remember it all now.
Here are a few pics that I have taken the last little while....not in any particular order...
Asher's first taste of baby food......
He wasn't too awfully sure of it......Love his face though!!
He was more worried about the camera instead of eating.
Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Barron's.
There was like 50 eggs just for him in their backyard.....spoiled little turd......
Then it was off to Grandma and Pappa Brown's house for his other egg hunt.....
The Easter Bunny left something on the tree for Bryson....it was an airplane with sunglasses, and his own bag to carry everything in....it was pretty cute.
Going thru the loot with Grandma Brown
The glasses that came with that airplane pack, and the bag is on the couch behind him....just his size

ALECIA'S BRIDAL SHOWER AND WEDDING
This was one of the games we played.....she wore this for a few minutes and then left the room.  The ladies had to remember and write down as many items that the could that was stuck on the apron....I think there was like 25 items....or more, I can't remember.
Another game we did....the bubble gum game.  We had Jon record his answers to some questions that we turned around and asked Alecia.  If she didn't answer the same that Jon did, she had to have a piece of bubble gum.....this was her after the game....she was not impressed.
Of course Bryson had to help open her shower gifts.....so cute!!
They got married in the Draper Temple, it was a very spiritual fun thing to be apart of!

 At the reception, Bride/Father dance
Bryson did so good considering it was a long day....I think at this point he was getting ready to just run and play....oh yeah, and he wanted Aunt Shaw and Uncle Jon's wedding cake.....or as he called it...."birthday cake"......Aunt Shaw gave him the second piece (after they cut the cake and fed each other, Bryson was right there to get his piece...Thanks Alecia and Jon.....you scored lots of points with him!)
My cute little Asher.....thank Heaven for this walker....he was EVERYWHERE in this thing!! Saved us from lugging him around the entire reception.
Now, if anyone knows Asher, you know that he spits up........ALOT........and ALL THE TIME.  Ironically, I got him to look at the camera and to smile and right as I pressed the button to snap the shot.....he spit up/threw up......That's my boy!! Caught in action!!
Bride and Groom's first dance........I love them!! They are such a cute couple!  WE ARE SO EXCITED TO HAVE JON IN OUR FAMILY!!
 The cake
Bryson eating his 'birthday cake' from Aunt Shaw and Uncle Jon
Alecia and her new mother in law made all of the decorations.....the centerpieces were beautiful!
Jeff, Alecia's father in law, and Jon hollowed out some logs for these centerpieces....NICE WORK
This was their sign in....it was a tree and everyone put their finger in a stamp pad and then stamped their finger on the tree limb and then wrote their names next to their finger print....cute idea huh!
Jon's Jeep decorated by his family and friends....they filled the Jeep with balloons and they put oreo cookies all over the windows, along with the streamers.....looks pretty good!
Aunt Shaw and Bryson at the end of the reception....I just love these two!!
I can hear him laughing just by looking at this picture! He loves Alecia, and I am pretty sure she loves him too!
I feel so crappy cuz I didn't get any pictures of the Open House here in Idaho Falls....I guess I was too busy walking around since I new everyone that came, that I didn't get any....Bummer!!

I have more pics to post, however, they are on my phone so I have to figure out how to get them on the blog.....hmmm. Til then....I hope this post finds everyone having a fun and safe summer!

Christmas 2010........

I know, I know.......but a little late than never right!! It's a picture overload, but here are a few of our last Christmas.  It was a fun holiday spent with our families.  Both of my boys were pretty spoiled by their grandparents, Aunt "Sha" and Uncle Nick.  Bryson got everything from clothes, a bucket full of tools, basketball hoop, train set, books, little barbecue set, and a giant jumphouse that has now made its home in my basement (until summer).  So, yes he got super spoiled.  Asher pretty much got clothes and a few toys (which Bryson plays with).  Enjoy the pics and hopefully I will get better at posting.....sheesh!!
Bryson and Asher on Santa's lap during the Christmas party at Dustin's work.
Dustin and I went in with my sister on my parent's gift and got them a new water heater.  They were in dire need of one......just ask my mom.
Another pic of Bryson on Santa's lap....NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THIS GUY!
Bryson got a new drill and he was "fixing" presents all morning.
Here he is ready to fix anything and everything.  Just call him "Handy Manny".
Someone should tell him that mustard goes on the hamburger, not to drink it.
Asher pretty much chilled all morning like this......what a stud.
Bryson with his bucket of tools that is often strung around my house. :)
Playing with his magna-doodle with daddy.

AND THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IS.........
My sister Alecia is ENGAGED!!! Congrats Jon and Alecia!! We are so excited to have Jon in our family!! We love you both!!
The night of the proposal.  Jon included us on this special night.  He proposed to Alecia at his family cabin and we "surprised" her when she came in as a newly engaged woman.  His mom made an awesome steak dinner.  We are sooooo excited to have Jon in our family!! Bryson sure does love his Uncle "Zzzjon".
The 2 future brother-in-laws.  They don't like each other......just kidding, they actually get along very well, and talk to each other more than I talk to my sister...........sad really!
 And here is the bling!!!
One last picture of my sweet Asher......He is getting so stinkin big!! Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?!

The "Catch-Up" Post

WARNING:  THIS IS A VERY LONG POST, READ/LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK

My father-in-law mentioned yesterday that he checked out my blog the other day to see if I had updated it....and felt soooo ashamed.....so I felt like I needed to get off my butt and catch everyone up.  I have enjoyed being home with my boys these last months.  I would really like to stay home with them instead of going back to work, but it's been hard the last few months without my paycheck.  So, it's off to daycare for the boys on January 3rd (BREAKS MY HEART....that will be a HORRIBLE day for mommy!)  I have sucked at posting any pics of our new baby, Asher Dee Barron.  He was born September 28th, 2010 @ 8:15 AM. He was 6 lbs 11 oz and 18.5 in long.  The following is pretty much for me and my things to remember for Asher:

**He started sleeping thru the night a few weeks ago.....GLORIOUS!!
**He was eating every 3 hours until recently it changed to every 2-3 hours.  SHEESH!! Just this weekend he started eating more than 4 ounces of formula, so he goes longer between feedings.
**He has the cutest smile (both my boys have beautiful smiles).  And LOVES to be talked to.
**Has been cooing and "talking" for the last few weeks.
**Puckers his lips and blows bubbles while he coos
**LOVES his Aunt Leesha......last night they had a pretty lengthy conversation.
**Is pretty high maintenance, he doesn't like to be in one position for very long, so he has to be moved or walked around or he gets mad and "squawks".
**LOVES his big brother, Bryson.  He hears his voice and immediately starts looking for him, so cute.
**We have been worried that he was having sight problems because he wasn't focusing on anyone or tracking, but he has started to stare at us, so that fear/nervousness is starting to go away.
**Asher is SO close to rolling over, maybe a few more weeks and he will NEVER be on his back!! Although he HATES tummy time, so maybe once he rolls over, he won't do it again :)
**At his 2 month checkup/shots he weighed almost 12 lbs! He's my big boy!! (He is almost outgrowing his 0-3 month clothes!! Bryson was still in newborn clothes and SOME 0-3 month outfits at this age.)
**He loves bath time, sometimes I wonder who's getting the bath, him or me....or the kitchen!  He's just like his brother, I am afraid for when Asher gets big enough to bathe with Bryson, by poor bathroom!
**He hates to be cold (especially after getting out of the bath......brrrrr).

So that's a bit about Asher.  Bryson has been such a good big brother and always wants to help with "Baby Sasher".  He loves to give him kisses and tickle him.  I can't wait until Asher is big enough to crawl/walk and play with Bryson.  They will be good buddies, I'm sure.  Since I have been home, Bryson has started talking more (using his words is what I like to call it).  He doesn't 'act out' as much as he used to and doesn't hit, kick and bite like he did when he was in daycare.  However, I have been his only friend to play with and he needs kids his age to play with.  Therefore, I am torn between going back to work and sending him back to daycare and risk him reverting back to his old ways, or finding a way to stay home with him.....either way, I am sure the Lord will provide and direct me down the path which is best for me and my little family.  I just have to have the faith that it will all work out in the end, (which is so hard because I want all the answers right now.)   I probably won't be posting any of the Christmas pics until next year because I am going to take this last week I have to spend the time with my boys and my sister who is up from Utah, but here are a few pictures of my little guys and the things that have happened the last few months.  (pictures won't be in order).

Aunt "Leesha" with Asher her trip home to meet him for the first time.
My baby boy, I think he looks like my side of the family.....poor kid has my nose :)
He RARELY slept soundly, he used to be so restless while he slept.
Bryson with my niece Brittany and her new husband Chad Hansen.
Bryson LOVES Chad!! This was when they were "pretending" to sleep.  You can see Bryson actually snoring in this picture.
Ok, this is totally random, but I was at a girls night and I came into the family room and there was a stinkin raccoon!! Relax, it is a family pet I guess.  But duh, I had to hold and get my picture taken with it.  She was pretty cute.  Surprisingly, she wasn't mean and cuddled with anyone who held her.
Bryson helping Daddy get the guts out of the pumpkin so that we could carve them. Such a good little helper, but man was he a mess!!!
My son was always so skeptical of my nephew Brookx.  But at my nieces wedding, they became friends, sort of........for a short time.

Bryson got his very own shovel from Papa and Grandma Brown, so on the first snowfall, he was outside helping his daddy shovel the snow.....again, such a good helper!
The weekend before Brookx left for his mission, Bryson actually relaxed and became really good friends with him.  Now he sees a picture of him and he says, "Bwookx mommy, Bwookx".  Soooo cute, too bad that he is on his mission for 2 years, but I will make sure that he remembers him....I WILL!!!
 Bryson's fat lip.....poor kid!!
Bryson helping with Asher's bath time.
 Cute little naked man!!
Asher's 2 month shots...he cried that day every time I would have to move his legs to change his diapers....made me sad.
This was the day before Brookx left to the MTC, I will forever cherish this picture!! I want Bryson to look up to his cousin for going on a mission and maybe someday, he too will choose to serve the Lord and teach others about the Gospel.  Love you Brookx, we are so proud of you!!
Every year, Dustin's office has the kids come down and they go trick-or-treating from office/cubical.  Bryson was a vampire again (luckily he still fit into his costume from last year, and let's admit it, he will probably fit into it next year too....hahahaha.  Asher was a mummy (it's the same one Bryson wore on his first Halloween, and Asher BARELY fit into this, in fact he only wore it long enough for us to get this picture.)
Until next year....I hope everyone has a great last week of 2010 and that 2011 brings happiness, good health, and love to all my friends and family!! Love you all!!!

Bryson on the slide

We went with our friends, the Kofe's to the park one afternoon before they left and Bryson LOVED playing with the kids and on the jungle gym. He's growing up so quickly....look at him--going on the slide by himself!! At the end you hear him yelling at the other kids..... What a big boy!!
